Republican Arizona state Senator Frank Antenori may challenge Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in 2012 and he is questioning her ability to hold office. To be perfectly honest, I don't think that someone should retain their seat if they are not mentally able to handle it. While I understand the sensitivity of the matter and the idea of giving her a comfortable window to try to recover, if she cannot be competent enough to meet the next election cycle, someone else really should take that place, otherwise that leaves the constituents of that whole district left hanging. Jimmy is right though, we should at least wait till the elections.
