Wasn't there a gameboy Adventure Island game? I think I remember playing it at a friend's house one time. Hm.

Well if you watched my vids that was the crappy 50hz footage.

So it will be better in NA. But I'm just saying, if you want an Adventure Island game, get the best one. The first Wonder Boy.

Yeah it doesn't look as good as the Wii Ware one, but it was huge for a reason :)

However admittedly it was only huge in the EU and JPN I believe.

Meh... it doesn't really appeal to me as much as WBMW and AI:TB do. Wonder Boy SMS looks a bit rough around the edges unless I'm missing something...?

Nah I mean the original just Wonder Boy.

Not the RPG ones. The RPG ones are great though, but I mean the one that AI was cloned from.

Because WB is better because they watered AI down when they cloned it.

Oh you mean Wonder Boy in Monster Land? Yeah, I considered that a couple months back but I ended up saying to myself maybe I should get Monster World (MD version) instead. I still haven't gotten either one. Maybe you remember that. :P

I'd try the SMS Wonder Boy first then. Your version will be much better as it's faster and will have the arcade style music :)

I've been debating over it for quite some time now that's why I asked. Just for the record, I've never played an AI game before.

Haven't played it bud. I've got the NES one and this one and just can't get into them. They just pail when compared to Wonder.

So I haven't bought the Wii one. Panda keeps almost buying it, so one day there may be a vid, but until then... :)

Looks pretty good! How does this compare to Adventure Island: The Beginning on WiiWare? Have you tried it?

I love adventure island games. the first one and the cell phone one are both clones, but still the first 1 is really an amazing game.
