You've seen many playthroughs of Gradius Generation/Gradius Galaxies/Gradius Advance here on YouTube, but have you seen one played on ACTUAL GameBoy Advance hardware? You would probably be unable to answer this question, so here it is, fresh into my house, Gradius Generation for the GameBoy Advance.

Played on my GameCube via the GameBoy Player.

  • 9:56 gee since when did you learn to fly the vic viper like that? I can do better on that stage. only that its a little hard on me.

  • @bluelink9 - That was the first time I ever made such a stupid mistake in the high-speed Stage. I would consider that bad luck. I think this is another Gaming Session that needs to be redone.

  • Ace! You made me facepalm when you opted for collecting an air-to-ground missile weapon in a level with no ground and upgrading your laser BEFORE going after options.

To each his own, I suppose, but I've never lasted through a recovery run on ANY Gradius / Nemesis game without focusing on regaining options.

  • The Missile was actually a mistake. I usually do this: Laser first(double-upgraded if the game has weapons you can double-upgrade), Options, Missile, whatever Shield I've picked. I haven't memorized any of the stage layouts from Gradius Generation, so it's obvious I'll make mistakes.

  • LOL"Oh, great, more of that regenerating bullshit"

  • oh great I hate the cell stage...the wost and hardest stage ever!

  • When the Moai is just floating around, in the higher loops, he'll be firing lasers. Not many, but they can be hard to dodge with the other two walking on the floor and cieling.

  • Oh, except for in Gradius 3, SNES version. I know that one inside and out though.
