At the beginning of season 2, we learn that Jeanne and David adopted a child. From a funny party-going young woman, Jeanne became a mother completely overwhelmed by her new responsibilities and started to neglect Clara and David. During the famous weekend getaway, Clara throws at Jeanne's face that she is an over-protective mother who doesn't realize that her child has isolated her from her husband and friends.

I love the fact that the older gentleman is absolutely right. Someone's got to be the asshole in the situation. Someone's going to get hurt (probably all 3 folks involved), but at least the truth will be known and the lying will stop.

Personally I don't think Gilles should have to chose. I actually don't think they are meant to chose. I think the 3 of them are meant to be a ... well couple isn't the word. together? Gilles loves both JP and Clare and gets something from each of them he can't get from the other. Clare loves Gilles but has always had a place in her heart for JP, and lastly Clare and Gilles are the loves of JPs life, each in their own way. It might sound strange but for now I think it's what's meant

Yeah blame the woman for the fact that her boyfriend suddenly wants to be reamed by a man. The writers of this soap clearly have no inslight into the psyche of a man who regarded himself as straight....
