  • 8 lugz my truck is SAS'd and had a 8lugged 10blt front axle on the front at the time this vid was taken...

i actually just read every comment for this video for the first time just now and all i have to say is holy shit, chill the fuck out

updates... been a year and a half since this vid and i have yet to have a single re-accurance of death wobble, swapped a d60 on april 08 with springless arms using the same shims and it has never missed a lick

  • I had a shopping cart do this to me the other day, damn near flipped that bitch in the produce section rounding the turn towards dairy.

  • ahh the death wobble check list: incorrect castor is usually the main cause. incorrect toe in can cause it, as can out of balance tyres worn tierod/draglink ends worn/loose wheel bearings stuffed shocks stuffed suspension bushes loose panhard bolts (or any other for that matter) on leaf sprung trucks: shackles too big Steering dampers only mask the problem. but they are usefull for big tyres that have poor onroad manners anyway.

  • so what was the problem and how did u fix it my 88 silverado k2500 does the same thing and I use it for work, mostly loading it with building materials, cement, sand, bricks etc

  • I air down the tires. It helps

     Or get a wider rims.

  • @thomas9781

Put air in your front tires! :p

  • @3mountaintop3

I had the same setup, '01 F150 but on 39s... Had to do a solid axle conversion to get rid of it, I got wobble vids on here

  • did you film this with a rusty potato?

  • @ice788

    ROFL, made my day bro

  • @MegaGarrett07 the f250s do the same thing

  • Too much positive caster will cause that, Cajun4x403 is correct on this one. Another indicator that you have too much positive caster when you release your steering wheel after a turn, the steering wheel returns to center waaaay too quickly.

  • @ice788 that made my fucking night lolololol

  • @Cajun4x403 allmost looks like your stearing stabilizer shock was bad
