  • many peace and blessings, i am an african american who moved forward to the Gambia. i am always interested in linking with people who are interested in the country, as well the continent.

  • I will keep you posted on developing events which will be many. One of my prime missions now is to show others starting with the Gambia which was my first visit to Africa, that you need to know first hand where you come from. When I went to the Motherland I saw why I love rich colors. Something as simple as that. I could see why I love to dance and I realize its nothing won't with it.

  • I want others to see the beauty of Africa I remeber crying and a Gambian Sistah said to me "No more tears you don't have to cry anymore you are home". That touched my soul that one statement.

  • Thank you it was a great experience, we all truly thank His Excellency President Yahya Jammeh and my friend Dr. Buba Badjie for a once in a lifetime opportunity.

It is my strong belief that every Diasporian should return to their homeland of origin. You need to know from which you came to know who you really are. I saw a host of my family members in the face of the Gambia.

I strongly suggest a trip to the Gambia for peace, joy, and rebirth. It's a beautiful country with loving people.

  • Thanks so much for your kind comment I've already been to The Gambia seven times.

I hope to raise enough Capital to do something in The Gambia or Ethiopia, another very lovely African in the future.

I strongly believe it is our time now and that we must take every oppotunity to link up. With Africans who have a similar political/economic outlook. It is not possible to do it as individuals.

  • I hope that you'll join us in 2010 for the 10th Annual Roots Festival in The Gambia. I'll keep you updated as they develop.

  • Funny stuff. U want to get to the Gambia/motherland permanently, but the Gambians and continental Africans want to get to the US and Europe permanently. That is a solid piece of social and cultural oxymoron or better yet, a complex incongruity of black perception.

  • Please email me at my personal site with details I'm interested. 2010 is excellent for me.

  • Nice video good to see a diasporian in The Gambia!
