how do you know how far it would go? maybe you should actually show it going on the ground so we can see the distance...

i would know how far it would go because we did it as a school project and tested it in our hall and it went 177 feet the spring is wornout now,,,it only goes around 100 feet

If you want it to go further, make the propelling wheels larger, for example use the old black records or make them. You can make them from wood, and that can work to your advantage, because you can also put a counter balance weight in the wheels, which would make it go even further when its free rolling... I am making the same thing soon, just a lil more high tech, look at stirling engines ... good luck!
