Sex, Religion, and Guilt... Where Will It End?

Hmmm. this is a tough one for me. I just did some sexual things with my boyfriend today, foreplay...because I want to remain a virgin until marriage, and i thought perhaps foreplay would be alright then. But..I'm feeling horribly guilty about it...I always regret it after we do it..and it really actually almost makes me feel like i want to leave him. but when we dont do it a while, i feel happier with him. I dont want to let God down....but I dont know where to go from here.

The fact that you are rationalizing doing fairplay means that you have already done something sexual. So where do you draw the line? Why not enjoy your existence, enjoy your body, enjoy your love and the manifestations of it?

This is where I have a problem with the religious instituion, they have taught this poor man to feel guilty about the naturals of life. And when faced with something that goes against what he was taught to believe in he is now torn in 2! Taught to blame the other for living life istead of looking into himself and forgiving himself and accepting that there is nothing wrong! It shouldnt be that difficult for 2 people who love eachother equally to forgive for the discretions of eachothers past!

Here's how sex ed should be, I think: "Hey, class! Now, if you decide to have sex, here's what's to be expected, and make sure you use protection: condoms, etc. Remember, sex is natural and not shameful. But, for the Love of GOD, DON'T HAVE SEX!!!!"

I think abstinence is awesome and should be followed by everybody... but, even I think this guy is making too much out of his fiance's past. I'd like to marry a virgin, but as long as she's not a current slut, we'll be fine...

There's nothing to forgive because she hasn't done anything to you lol. duh.

He has two choices:
#1 He dumps her and he tries to find a "virgin" ages: 1-14raughly or
#2 He changes is religious views and gets over it.
