FE Lap of Road America ending with punt in Turn 12

FE racing at the 2008 June Sprints at Road America. Lap starts and ends at turn 12 ("Canada Corner") when a DSR attempts a pass and hits the right rear corner.

it was a CSR that gave you the shunt? any damage?

There was some damage, but I would guess more to his car than mine. I just needed minor fiberglass repair on the side pod, a new radiator and to replace a tweaked bolt in the rear suspension. Lucky that it happened in a such a slow corner.

I was the responding corner worker, and now I know what you mean by "he came out of nowhere!" By the way, I haven't seen the driver of the CSR around. Anyways, good luck on the rest of your season!

yeah Id imagine the bodywork on those CSR's isnt cheap to repair. just out of curiosity how much do you FE guys put aside for an SCCA race weekend? for racing expendables, fees and travel.

he mainly races in the south east division. road atlanta and VIR. down there.
