@nitromenoob What's the matter poppet?

@CommieCotch wtf...........................
.... -
@HalfEatenDimSim Umm.....Paul wrote this. John wrote Strawberry Fields.
-
@GBincProductions What's funny about that? You know, pretty much every Lennon/McCartney track was written by one or the other, it was rare for them to ever collaborate. This is a John written song sang by Paul! The lead vocals for any beatles song were always given to whoever sang it best, not who wrote it.

@GBincProductions I thought John lived on Menlove Avenue?
-
lol who the fuck even listens to a beatles song for the lyrics?am i right? (laughs sarcastically)

this song reminds me of the orphanage i was in in the 60's waiting for me mum & dad to sort it out(they never did) but the nuns used to beat us @ night to this tune.... but i' still love it.......they forbid playing of the white album because of the 'mother superior jumped a gun part'.... i kid you not........oy yeslam what is fish & finger pie? is it what i'm thinkin'? you dirty B#$@&*ard

After learning what "fish and finger pie" meant, I could never listen to this song the same way again.

It was an area Paul and John met up at to take their bus.
It's funny that Paul sings about Penny Lane, but John was the only one of the four Beatles to live on Penny Lane.

This was the very first seven single I ever bought for myself - I was 11 or 12. The flipside was Strawberry fields forever - a tad too weird and druggy for a pre-teen, but now I can say Strawberry fields was my first record - much more street cred for that...
