@claytonman1000 You're referring to Olympic recurve shooting standard form. He's shooting traditional (instinctive) style. Thats bloody good for quick draws, look at those groupings. He's on his knees by the way, not standing with stabilizers and sights.
As a hunting bow, your shooting style will need to be instinctive. Great shots from what I'm seeing. Keep it up!

@mr1993bowman keep in mind you can always draw short till you grow into in i was shooting a 50# @ 28" primitive longbow (northeast american woodlands) at 10-11 years old and i did just fine
what kind of arrows do you use?

@mengsongli I shoot the Easton aluminum XX75 gamegetter series arrows as of now(2011). The ones I have now are black, smaller in diameter and are lighter that my old green ones. They even have an adjustable nock. I love the gamegetters. I got the new series in 2008 because I wrecked my old ones after shooting at marmots that were in some logs and rocks. These new ones are great and shoot even better and faster. If I want longer or faster shots I use a couple of spare carbon arrows I have.

hi, i am 13 and i am thinking of geting this bow. i can pull my 40# pound compound bow but i am worried about the draw length of that bow. so my draw length is 24inch.
so i am asking u if this is a good bow for me?
mr1993bowman 1 year ago
@mr1993bowman Sorry I took so long to answer. Ibelieve the draw length for the Kingfisher bow is a 28 inch draw. I hope that helps. I t is a really nice bow to start with. It is very reliable and durable. It takes down easily and doesn't take up too much space. A bit on the heavy side compared( 3-4 lbs) to wooden bows. You might need another bow unless you have grown into this draw length. Good luck on finding your new bow. :D

get video , I like the way you put the music with you archery shooting practice, it's kinda smooth and silent way of putting things, I think the more traditional you get the better. Using a recurve with no extra's added, stringing it yourself with using a stringer and making your own target, there's alot to be said about that, good job man. I shoot a 45lb PSE Heritage recurve.
