@GERMANOPHILE Well until Star Trek online in which they are named the Undine. And the Borg do manage to assimilate one Undine. Until you bust in and kill everything.

@Archedgar oh really? lol they have been voted on trek dot com as the best alien race ever,the polls clearly worth more then ur opinion.with 1 minor hit voy lost most of it systems in part but i take it u never watched the show.

@slay444pt the weapons of species 8472 are super effective against the borg not everything else,anyway that shot wasn't a direct hit it slashed the nacelle,and clearly u can see what happened to voy she was damaged an spinning around. people love to criticize voy all the time and forget its science fiction.why not talk about how Enterprise D destroyed a borg cube alone...

@harpiyon Even Voyager could have defeated those Aliens from Ridley Scott's Alien. Just use the transporter and beam them all away and fire a phaser or two. simple

Love this episode, why? cos they(Species 8472) defeat the Borg!! the unstopable Borg! as unknown as species 8472 are, still they stop this enemy in their tracks!
