Once again Birds & Beans® has brought in all the coffee harvest from Gaia Estate in the Pacific coastal tropical forest region of Carazo in Nicaragua. Farmers Jefferson Shriver and Maria Gabriela Narvaez Quesada have turned Gaia into a wonderful and sustainable farm expanding community employment, growing great coffee and caring for the environment. Kenn and Kimberly Kaufman went to Gaia in 2011 and recorded over 100 bird species and 2,500 individual birds at Gaia.

Aren't there little reusable cups to load in your own coffee for the Kuerig?

I have had this coffee, and it's wonderful and delicious! Aromatic and bold, just the way I like my coffee. They have several different roasts to choose from. The decaf has a strong note of chocolate, and I fooled myself and my friends when I inadvertently served it as regular coffee. It's the only brand of coffee I buy now. The cost of a 2-lb bag plus shipping is cheaper than what my local bird store charges for a 1-lb bag.
