I love how pantene has tried to embrace the different hair types, but I found that it was much too drying and not conditioning enough for my 3c hair. Maybe I'll go back sometime :)

Leaving a product with sodium hydroxide on the hair for 5 minutes is like getting a light perm. Sodium hydroxide is lye, the active ingredient in a perm. So will this "relax" you curl? Yes, in the same way a perm does. If you are committed to natural hair steer clear of Pantene. These product are not by us or for us, just a cheap ploy to make money off the billion dollar black hair care industry. Don't get me started on the "ethnic" colored bottles.

I wish I could use Pantene, but I can't because it dries the shit out of my hair! Even the pantene for "colored" women. Still so dry and the daily oil moisture makes my hair feel all greasy and dry at the same time. You should work on your products pantene
