  • I really enjoyed this video. This past year I bought Tom Smart's book and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I grew up in Fredericton in the 60's when Tom was there. I have always loved his work and have a semse of pride as a Maritimer that he is one of our great Atlantic Canadian artists.

  • @fogboundf Absolutely wonderful. Thanks. I had read the book, even taped an interview with Tom Smart that is on this channel. Working with the artist was great. I am hoping to make this a bit viral on the East Coast. There is some great art happening there. Spread the word

  • I'm living in Alabama now but get back to the Maritimes a couple times a year. I do my best to keep in touch with what's going on there and visit galleries whenever I'm back home. I so apprecitate having these videos available. I downloaded this one to watch it again. Tom Forrestall has been an inspiration for my own painting.

  • Wonderful video on my dad! He is so articulate, he comes across as talented, self-effacing, genuine, warm and beloved as he is really is. His 6 children and 10 grandchildren are enormously proud of him! My sister Renee is the young woman standing on the well in the pink dress is in the backyard of our cottage near Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. The boy lying on the beach is my brother William. Dad has always included his children and wife, Natalie Forrestall in his artworks.
