  • If we had politicians that were properly educated in information technology this debate would never have happened as it is obvious that it is absurd to implement and an insult to liberty. It has nothing to do with small creature sex rather wowser regulation of information, centralised power and illogical emotive based policy. Now that the Australian government has embarrassed itself of the international stage should we demand that our leaders are properly educated before wasting everyones time

  • @kevenbud

well said. these blanket policies based on tugging the heartstrings of the nation are not on, and we as a nation should be able to smell these coming a mile away, whether it's increased police presence or censorship or any aspect.

  • I just heard they are going to also censor youtube videos!!! now im pissed off.

  • @edstar83

youtube, to an extent, is already censored. they have moderators 24/7 that record and block comments and videos. youtube has been completely bought over

  • i'm trying to paint a broader picture of what is happening. it's safe to say that the majority of australians are against this internet censorship, which was implemented without vote. getting angry about this is a start, but it's useless if we don't understand the global agenda of control. this is a mere stepping stone towards what is coming

  • What's sad is that I'm aware, but none of my friends or family are remotely interested. They seem to just blindly believe that whatever happens is just fine, the govt is looking out for them, right? The Govt is REPEATEDLY making decisions against public consent, and a lot of the time without even informing them beforehand. Aren't they supposed to be working for us? This is corrupt and should be criminal :S

  • @Yalf111

you must aim to get through to them with compassion. fundamental feelings and morals will always connect with people no matter what. if u try and inform them out of love instead of debate, they will appreciate it. i don't blame people that aren't interested, simply because society today is scientifically designed to keep people ignorant, and not only that but to REVEL and love being ignorant. the only way to break through the shell of programming is with positivity and compassion

  • Australia is NWO's puppet...Gillard and Rudd should be jailed for treason!..SOLD US OUT!

  • no.

  • @Marspyramids Well it's too late now, The population has been disarmed, So I got know answer's how to fix any of this shit going on -_-

  • Australia now has its carbon tax passed in parliament and ready to go July 1, 2012, a tax without a mandate, a tax based on a lie. I'm 40, but sometimes I wish I was in my 70s or 80s, about ready to sign off so I could get the hell out of here. I'd emigrate if there was somewhere better than Australia but I fear there is not. I feel sorry for the younger generations who will inherit a world of unbelievable tyranny ruled by psychopaths.

  • As an American, I remind myself to appreciate what I have when I come across things like this. Long live the First Amendment, I say! Yeah, Americans argue a lot, and we're not always sure what's right, but at least we're free to say so. I wonder what I might be able to do to help the Australians fight for their freedom.

  • nothing has happened to the internet here?
