For many, many years, something dwelt under the little town of Derry, killing innocent people and changing forms all the time. One of his best known forms is that of Pennywise, the dancing clown. Created by Stephen King and portrayed by Tim Curry, that creepy clown from It is number 5.

I first saw this movie when I was a kid. I had nightmares for a week, and was paranoid for years afterward.
Strangely, I am not afraid of clowns, although I do have a strange interest in the "Monster Clown" Trope

Tim Curry is a real actor of epic proportions. There are so many great villains played by theater/musical type actors, and roles like this are why. Most of these actors go unnoticed because we mostly focused on the hero, but with out a great villain, you can not have a great hero or story. It is sad that out generation is more associated with Justin Bieber and Twilight than Tim Curry. Most people are not aware that Freddie Kruger (Robert Englund) is a well studied actor in theater arts!!!
