What's wrong with people who own property and have wealth? Oh yeah, they are evil unless they are wealthy liberals. Every founding father had more integrity, intelligence, honor, dignity and love for country in their little toe than Obama has in is whole body. This great country is shamed by his scam and those who voted for it.

I bet you were hoping nobody would point this out, that the idea that the founders were pro-slavery is farse. Do your own homework, look up what the ORIGINAL declaration had in it, and not what was signed by all 13 delegates.

... would'nt have been better off seeing as they wouldn't be able to good jobs. Besides, he did try to free his slaves, which is why he had that in the Declaration to free all the slaves, but again it was turned down because if it wasn't not only would we have been fighting the British but also Southerners. Another good point is that Lincoln himself accredited the Founders for freeing the slaves, and not himself.

@DivisionWasp Also, while Jefferson had slaves himself, it is recorded that he did not treat them as regular southerners did, which was to beat them and abuse them. He treated them kindly, and he would have released them except for the fact that most likel they'd have been re-sold to a new master, one who would have beaten them. He actually was doing the slaves he had a favor, also not to mention not very many people would have hired blacks back then so even if they didn't get re-sold, they...

@DivisionWasp Actually, majority of the Founders did not support slavery. Thomas Jefferson orignally put in the declaration of Independence that no man had the right to enslave another, however it was removed because delegates from North and South Carolina, as well as Georgia, demanded it or else they threatened that they would not join the soon to be US and they would have fought against the North. So if Jefferson didn't get rid of that clause, we'd have had a revolution as well as a civil war

@DivisionWasp if you checked the writings of the day and the many discussions you will find that even slave holding founding fathers new someday that slavery would end, because it was not a good practice. they also knew that you can always get what you want, and that stupid people do exist in large numbers..
