Completed short film of the Woodentops band UK returning to work after a 15 year AWOL. Rehearsing in an old stable building in Northamptonshire plus footage from a small warm up gig at the Racehorse In Northampton. The band then embarked on a small sold out European tour culminating in a Parisienne residency at La Fleche D'or.

  • I have been one of the loyalest n truly heartfelt fans of these guys. I knew they were fucking genius'. They sound brilliant. Being an American, I'm sure I am not going to be able to see them play live (again). They are one of the bands from the distant past, well... like twenty years or so ago that I have always longed to see. I've known, somehow, even before their little live release they put out in the early 90s, that they were the act to see, and now look at them... what amazing energy!

  • The Woodentops rock surprisingly hard! Great to see them back, still play Woodenfoot Cops from time to time... :-)

  • Rolo....

So F'N glad to see you back on the scene...

    magic,,magic my man..

  • Lol, I know I hounded you for a cpl years 'bout this but I said nothing about the camping. Looks like it was a good weekend.

  • hhaha its georgies house

  • OH great news indeed!

  • very exciting news that the Woodentops are BACK!...I caught one of their last shows waay back at Northampton's Roadmenders...and have been looking out for them ever since..great to have you back..

  • Since music is in its' sorriest state in years, it's appropriate that strong 80's and 90's bands reunite (see The Tubes) and teach these youngsters what GOOD music is. I'm very excited and hope they make it to the States.
