The "Volcan Ensemble" led by Maestro Emil Aybinder.
[also known as The Vulcan Ensemble - Gypsy Verve].

In The year 2000, one of the best Accordion players in the world, Maestro Emil Aybinder, joined the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Maestro Aybinder had a vision of establishing an ensemble of young musicians, which will work maintaining the high Classical music standards of arrangements and performance, and will play Balkan and Gipsy music. Emil absorbed this style in his homeland, Moldova.
During the first period, under Emil's guidance, the Balkan music workshop was established and preformed in concerts at the Academy. Within a short period, the word spread throughout the Academy, and students from all the departments wanted to join the "Balkan Revolution.? Emil selected the best students and established an ensemble of virtuosi soloists that started performing in various venues.
