  • Thank you for such a complete workfow on sound mixing.

  • break away cable? the break away cable i use dosn't break away. it has a screw together fitting.

  • wow

  • Nice sound bag its hard to get good audio in bad weather conditions But should be easy with the kit you have there.

  • Very nice AND SIMULTANEOUSLY bordering on ridiculous :)

  • Field recording with Thousands of Dollars worth of Audio Visual recording is very easy, now try to get equivellent audio performance with little to no money building most of the kit yourself in a garden shed from scrap, then i would be impressed ,as for showing pro gear that most people can only dream of ,smacks a bit of look what ive got and you dont.anyone in the industry can do this, the man in the street who just wants to improve his audio can't.

  • but i agree with you, all that kit ,and it still sounds bad,i dont think Rycote are that good for wind rejection.what did he have a 20 knot wind?? or there about.

  • if you can get a field recording system to sound good in adverse conditions, then in a clean studio ,it will be as close to perfect as any system can get,but its better to test in a worse case scenario to iron out all the problems first,

  • I cant help but comment on the irony of this tutorial on production audio, with HORRIBLE AUDIO QUALITY!!! why would you choose a location with the most challenging audio to explain a subject?! any subject! And he never explained ways to overcome the issue! Find an quiet indoor location to explain the IO of a mixer, not the bay on a windy day, next to roadwork, by the train tracks, under the overpass, right by the airport.

  • great video, not many vids on youtube about this particular subject.
