@AulicExclusiva I admire this warm, tender, beautiful performance by Kurz. Melba's two and a half recordings of the same piece are more brilliant and electrifying while not as caressing. Still, I marginally prefer Melba. Apart from Ivogun, there is another soprano I recall who recorded the song (which most music scholars agree is NOT Handel), perhaps Beverly Hoch, who also does a very fine job.
