Simple Minds Live Sweden 1979

Simple Minds live at Obebro, Magasinet in Sweden 1st November 1979. A soundboard recording from 1979 (not very many of them around from 1979!). Tracks include: "Scar", "Here Comes the Fool", "White Light White Heat" and "Wasteland". The version of "Scar" is the same as the album version (if you listen carefully during the intro you can hear people talking in the background). Live versions performed before this had different lyrics and slighly different arrangement. "Here Comes the Fool" never made it to an album and was unreleased until it was included in the "Silver Box". "White Light White Heat" is a Velvet Underground song which the band have played live countless times but, to date, is still unreleased. "Wasteland" is a Johnny & the Self Abusers song from 1977 that made it onto the bands first album - making it the oldest song written by Jim & Charlie in the Simple Minds catalogue.
Recording taken from the unofficial album "Fact to Fact". I strongly suppect that they got the track listing in the wrong order. "Scar" was usually the first song in the setlist followed by "Here Comes the Fool" etc.
