  • edited...wheres the real one..

  • This is basically it - I edited out about a second right before Colbert says "What are the 10 commandments?" Nobody really says anything, it just made the video longer; this is a clip from the show & yeah it's real! I think it was just too much empty space, I forget really.

  • I mean I forget why really.

  • can you upload all of it please???

  • Sorry, don't have it. God I wish I did!

  • It's perfectly clear that you need them posted in public buildings because congressmen are too busy to memorize them! Oops !

  • @sadiew1990 yes.

  • @pappabear2010 lol, because if i say oh my god I must literally invoking a god? I use it cause it's an easy phrase to indicate disbelief, astonishment, or surprise at situation. It's the same thing when someone says "go f*** yourself." They aren't really telling you to go home and play with yourself. I say hell, god damn it, and oh my god on a daily basis; it doesn't mean I have to believe in a magical man in the sky is actually listening to my words. It's just a figure of speech. Geeze.

  • @sadiew1990 so if you're an atheist then you don't have a god so what is the point of putting "omg" at the beginning of your sentence.

  • @fosponomot

    I've seen enough.

  • OMG, I'm an atheist and I know his own beliefs commandments better than he does, as he argues that we need the commandments, lest we lose our sense of direction in this world. Apparently he really doesn't think they are that important if he can't take 30 minutes to memorize them himself.

  • @fosponomot

The full clip is on the colbert nation website.

  • @bettyjoon3

All the full colbert episodes and clips (including this one) are on the colbert nation website.

  • two people here also didn't know the 10 commandments

  • go get an education. if you don't, your going to become like him.
