  • What if the first device malfunctions, and I get dragged to the hospital!

  • @DavidSabine would it have been better if they fried it up afterwords?

  • Interesting ideas. Wish he could shut his pie hole on social matters tho'.

  • @gingimlet55 I agree. If the US wants to reduce costs related to litigation, then get rid of the HMOs.

  • 4:23 How many pigs died in the ridiculous studies?

    8:30 ...another animal killed.

I expect more from TED. I expect that TED shouldn't support cruel practices like animal testing.

TED gave this man a PRIZE? C'mon TED - not cool. Give your prize instead to the person who convinces the FDA that pigs aren't humans! Any results of such tests are, at best, circumstantial, and often prove to be irrelevant.

  • great! i'm doing an assignment about the first device, will definitely help!

  • I sometimes get migraine headaches, some of which start with a visual aura. It's actually pretty fascinating, but it's also quite creepy, and you lose part of your visual perceptive field temporarily. The headaches are kind of a bitch, too, though the aura actually allows you to take a paracetamol in advance, which typically makes them a lot less severe. I'd love to try his mind gun, though. }|:o)

  • in the end the reason anything controlable in our world is not controled is because even "the Illuminati" and hippies who think their lifestyles will make everything better and all people are not willing to work for a greater good, something that is only thought of as a problem by everyone who stops to think what a perfect society would be like...every person has greed and thinking of a greater good is fantacising, it's not a noun in any time frame, there will always be problems we refuse to fix

  • It is helpful.

  • The high cost of health care in the US may be partly due to litigation, but also partly due to the fact that obscene profits are made by people like Robert Fischell and pharmaceutical companies. It would be nice if the tms device were affordable and magnetic pulses not sold separately.
