Some risks are not worth taking - like turning Vancouver into a shipping port for Tar Sands bitumen. Texas-based energy giant Kinder Morgan wants to triple its Trans Mountain Pipeline to "the world's greenest city", meaning up to 400 supertankers a year would pass through Burrard Inlet, by Vancouver's beaches, the Fraser River estuary, the Gulf Islands and Victoria, putting BC's economy and environment at risk of a catastrophic oil spill. Go to TankerFreeBC.org and join us to help keep our beaches clean and oil-free.
