昭和初期、柴原英賢の下で空手の修行に励む3人の男たち。名を大観（中達也）、長英（鈴木ゆうじ）、義龍（八木明人）といった。だが、英賢は急逝し、継承の証である黒帯だ­けが残される。「空手は争うためにはあらず」と言い残した師の遺志を継ぎ、黒帯を手にするのは誰なのか？　折しも彼らの武術を見込んだ憲兵隊本部により、3人は憲兵隊への合流を命じられる。道場を後にした3人を襲う数奇な運命とは――？　『8月のクリスマス』の長崎俊一監督による本格空手ムービー。脚本を『NIGHT HEAD』の飯田譲治が務める。

JKA, WUKO and WKF... uhmmm diferent points of view krate competitions. Many people will say today's karate is not Karate but despite of points of view, is a way to modernize Karate as a sport... Personally I preffer old fashion (traditional) Karate... Sistems of competition are not Karate... Karate is who and how it's performed. That's why Funakoshi sensei wasn't concerned about Karate as a sport...

Its Naka Sensei's karate thats the only standout good in this film and the cinematography

@hicky777 'Cuz of the fullcontact u mean? People who think kyokushin should really check out the old shotokan, before they decided that they dont want ppl to die in competitions anymore. It was still the one punch-one kill mentality, but fullcontact, all over the body.

Ppl come flying with fists n feet at ppls head like nobodies buisness. THAT was fullcontact karate
