This video follows Autoroute 73 North, thru the Quebec City metro region. Includes footage of the Pierre Laporte Bridge, which at 1,041 metres, is the longest suspension bridge in Canada.

  • in my opinion you should make more videos in quebec there highways are pretty awsome!

  • @twilightrocks56789: Interesting freeways, indeed, but man, they do a horrific job at maintenance on some of them; especially around Montreal! (they seemed to be addressing the maintenance shortfall, when I was there this summer).

I do have about 20 videos from Quebec laying around on my back up hard drives; just a matter of finally putting them together.

  • I've always wanted to see a Quebec freeway video. This one is the best

  • I'll eventually have many more videos from the Province of Quebec. Glad you enjoyed this one; it's actually one of my favorite videos, 'cause of the Pierre Laponte Bridge.

  • trés belle vidéo!

  • Merci beaucoup!

  • It looks a lot like a motorway in one of the Western European countries..

  • Quebec? You sure get around Freeway Brent.

  • I gotta love the grade, been to Montreal, but didn't see much except a portion of a Montreal Route entering the city from the Southeast [can't remember the name]...

  • Are you paid for this job?

  • @adrianroam95

Yes, they look very northern American. But they have a huge European feel to them compared to American freeways.

  • @wimpie25 living in BC, Canada, I've always found Canadian highways to be more alike to US freeways than European ones. just saying

  • @wimpie25

Proper consequent road markings, long en wel marked exit and on-lanes. Better road surfaces, more modern and European style light fixtures....

  • @wimpie25 : Where do you see the layout are more European ?

  • I've always loved the more European layout of Canadian freeways.

  • Good Job Brent Jonas!
