I think asking "does she actually die"? is probably not the right sort of question to ask about a surrealist film..

I'm seeing this film as being cathartic in some way? although I know nothing about Maya Deren...

I'm guessing it's something about Domestic violence? The knife is clearly a placeholder for violence. and when the key turns into the knife, it seems to suggest that "violence is the key"? Something of that nature?

I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THAT! Each time you watch you have to turn off annotations yourself. I restarted it several times and it was always the same. You had to click, Turn Off Annotations, each time. Argue about obnoxious banners with Youtube...not me. This is what happens when you upload for free...no control over advertisements.

I can't believe it! I had the exact same dream last night!

I have a DVD set of all her films that I bought off amazon, but it's an american import so unless your DVD player is compatible with region 1 then you're out of luck. I've not been able to find any region 2 versions of her films, sadly.

I go to films class and where sopused to do a project on this movie. Awsome movie.
