Accumulating snow in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York, about 100 miles north of NYC, on this last Saturday in October is blanketing the roads. Take a look at this original video from the Lowdown with Mikey B - just outside the town of Rhinebeck.
In two hours, about 7 inches of snow have accumulated. New York isn't the only state being hit. From 4 to 12 inches are expected to accumulate along a swath from Virginia to upstate Maine. In the Hudson Valley, snow is expected to taper off after about 14 hours with about a foot of the "white stuff" expected to accumulate. What does it look like where you are?

  • Hey Dr. Doctah: After making this video, about 70,000 people lost power in the Hudson Valley region of NY alone. We were without power in the house where I was staying. So, we ended up leaving. It was cold. There was no running water. We had to light candles! I didn't have a jumbo bag of M&Ms with me. I ate all those during Hurricane Irene! LOL!
