I'm sure you're an exception ( I assume you're from Texas), but when I worked at a customer service call center for jewelry, people that called from Texas were ASSHOLES. So that's why I have negativity towards Texas. Again, I'm sure you're perfectly nice though :) To be fair, I'm from Florida, and people who called from Florida were a bunch of asshole too lol.

@Deafinition I think all college campuses have that barrier. I go to the University of Dubuque now (financial troubles kept me from going too far away from home) and the whole campus might as well be floating several hundred feet in the air. People on campus retain their personality while the citizens of Dubuque lose theirs.

@xxjong1991xx Oh don't get me wrong, ISU is a great school but it seems like there's a barrier that surrounds the campus. The moment people step outside that barrier they turn into a giant asshole. There isn't much need to ever leave campus, though.
