@CmdrX3 Haha, don't lose hope. You're never to old to learn a new language. :)

@hop208 english is a way easier than portuguese... I spend my hole life studing and talking portuguese and I still dont know all the rules.. Learn english took me 4 months to comunicate with my co-workers and friends with no problems.. my cousin only speaks english even with his parents, and he was also educated in brazil until 7!
he's just making the natural choice i guess.

I'm half portuguese :D

My kids can do this too. Not that special when they are exposed to it from birth. Awfully cute kid. He does need a wet wipe for his face though.

I always wonder when people learn several languages do they do a translation in their head from one to other first. For example see apple, think apple, think of translated word for apple, say translated word or does the image go straight to say translated word. Personally I would love to speak other languages, I've just never been very good at it and at 44, I doubt I'd have any hope now. I am genuinely jealous of those that can.

ZOMG!
Onde vocês moram?
No Brasil ou fora?

Cumprimentos para os dois, o menino e a senhora. Nao permita que ele esqueca o Portugues. Ele ja tem dois linguas...qual vai ser a terceira?

I hope she had permission to tape this minor, sounds like a school
Sometimes when I forget a word in Polish I start speaking English....It's WEIRD but actually helpful. Though...I'm much, much older than that kid XD

The woman in the background sounds kind of pissed off when he initially said his favorite language was English and not Portuguese.

@hop208 Thanks for the post. But not at all, it was just a no cut home video and sometimes the intonation in one language differs from another. But I´ll try to sound softer with my next interviews.

@Seasir777 This video was taken in a pre-school setting. Kids noises are the fun part of it.
