The Oreck is much better than the Dyson, There are much better vacuums than the Oreck but when compared to the Oreck on cleaning carpets the Dyson looses. At least the DC14 would.

wow, is there an oreck store in los angeles? im about to move into a house that has hard wood floors and tile floors. so my hoover vacuum is not gonna cut out for that kind of job.

the oreck air purifier reeks of plastic when i run it and it gives me a headache. Others who have bought it say the same thing. I think other oreck products are good but the air purifier is terrible

There is an extra belt SHOULD I NEED IT! I WILL need it! Just bought another pack of them off amazon. Orecks are great so I'm fine with it.

I've had the best experiences in the Oreck stores. The people are so knowledgeable and nice. I have everything in the store! The cleaners are a little pricey but I will continue to budget for them because I like products that work!! I've been an Oreck customer for 5 years and have my vac tuned up every year...for free! I love the store and I love the benefits of having the cleanest home in town!
