Thrice - Circles (cover)

Thrice has been one of my favorite bands since The Illusion of Safety. Every record, they evolve and grow and it shows. Their most recent album Beggars is no exception. "Circles" is one of my favorite tracks from that album.

This was a tricky song to figure out. Partly because Thrice uses an odd time signature, partly because the main focus of the song isn't guitar (especially in the chorus) and partly because I couldn't find a good tab online.

@TwoCapitals I got a copy of the vinyl and it is such a solid album. The tone and dynamics of the instruments flow smoothly and full and Dustins lyrics still ring deep and true. This world is seeing some changes but I'm happy that I'm part of a generation that Thrice is involved in.

@MetalvainChad Yeah man, I'm digging the new one a lot. Words In The Water is currently my favorite. Their lyrics are definitely what sets them apart from the rest of the bands out there. Had a chance to see them live in Houston a few weeks ago, they sounded awesome as usual.
