  • Maxie Dunham is a great man of God and a personal friend. I think it is wrong to make fun of someone for their sincere beliefs. Regardless of how you feel about the issue, this is not necessary. Grow up.

  • I've used Maxie Dunnam's "The Workbook of Living Prayer" in an MCC congregation-that would be a congregation of queers, by the way. It's a classic and a great gift he has given us all. But he is also the reason I'll never go back to the United Methodist church. I'll stick with the church that loves Jesus AND all of God's Queer children as well.

  • dude that was hilarious even though that is my gramps

  • Brilliant!

  • more of this please.

  • i hear your pain. i have also been personally hurt by Rev. Dunnam's rhetoric. here's your chance to love one who considers you to be his enemy -- and pray for his family, too.

  • This is hilarious. We need to learn to laugh at ourselves sometimes instead of instantly calling people morons. This at least adds a little levity to a difficult conversation.

  • hi hi hi..my name is maxie dunnam....i love this video...can you imagine that?!!!!! ;-) yes it's really me.

  • I think Amendment 1 is dangerous, dangerous.

It pains me to say so, but I think your video is funny, funny, funny.

    Can you imagine that?

Thanks for helping us laugh at ourselves.

  • Gavoweb is right - this is what happens on youtube!

As always I am amused by the unintended irony provided by my conservative sisters and brothers for whom I hold high regard and concern.

Generalizations and calling names in a post where you decry calling names seems like an excellent way to remove credibility.

"I'm more convinced than ever in the power of Maxie Dunham"
