The Nova Singers (www.nova.edu/novasingers/) is an all volunteer community choir, singing in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami, Florida. We have performed in Carnegie Hall and the National Cathedral as well as on tour in Italy. This video was captured live at St. Mark's Greek Orthodox church in Boca Raton, FL

  • Just want to make a correction on a prior posting. The Cherubic Hymn is part of the Orthodox Christian Church, not the Catholic Church.

  • @lu5egr This is written for the Orthodox Church :-)

    Let's not forget Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky's sacred compositions for the Orthodox Liturgy, those are the greatest choral masterpieces ever created, in my opinion :-)

  • @Yes4Brain My choral director of more than 10 years is jewish and yet we sing a lot of Masses (by Bach, Mozart) and sacred music, but as he says "it's not my fault that the best choral music ever was written for the Catholic Church" lol. And we perform in churches most of the time because of the acoustic. But it has nothing to do with religion... I think it's all about music and good feelings!
