I think am having the same problem with my AUDI, did the car shake often?
-
Yea what this was is a broken mount. Putting the coils bring the HP back to stock and make shake and tapping.
-
it's the apex seals

Damn, I never relaized where my ticking/clicking was coming from lol in my RX8. I need to hurry up and chnage my pluhs and coils.
-
dont worry about the clicking, my rx-7 does that too, its just the injectors :D
-
could you do a new video of it without the clicking? I think I got some clicking, just changed plugs tho :(

@turbopaule this noise did not come from the SSV , however, my SSV has recently went from sticky to completely stuck after mazda changed my engine. I am going to clean it myself in a week or two and will record it and post it.

It's very weird..... I didn't drive my rx-8 for the winter.... replaced battery and the engine was flooded.... after finally starting it up again.... i hear a very similar sound if not identical.... sounds goes away almost entirely once the engine is warm.... any thoughts? suggestions?

a very good way to isolate sound is to go and get urself some sort of flexible tubing, about 1 inch in diameter, then put 1 side to your ear, and use ur hand and move the other side around the engine compartment. to locate the source.
then you need to figure out if the clicking is matching your vehicle speed or engine speed (rpm)
