Sketch: Zero Kiriyuu

hello :) i made a Kiriyuu Zero fanart yesterday and i would like to share how i drew it :D

not one of those amazing fanarts though.
but i think it's Zero-ish enough XD

anyway here's a bit of help to those who wants to draw Zero the way i did...

usually i start with the face.
i kinda think his face is a bit long and roundish but not as long as other bishounen characters out there...

it was one of the hardest parts, imo.
[i wasnt able to press the record button while i was doing the face T_T i noticed it and it was too late]

i put some guidelines on the parts where i think im going to put the eyes, the nose and his lips.

the distance between these parts are important too..
although i am not good on this most of the time... -.-"
well just watch it :3

you dont really have to follow these steps, it still depends on you
these are just a few tips from a fellow anime/manga fan like you :D


notes:
i think these are some of the things we should keep in mind when we draw Vampire Knight characters...

*the lines/strokes on the eyes should be thick. :D
*the eyebrows for guys should be a bit pointy :3
*the ears are a bit aligned with the eyes :D

(as for Zero, dont forget his neck sign and his earrings.)
Uniform details are important too


as for the hair, i think it's easier when i do it by stroking lines downward... make curvy ones and some straight ones :D the hair is one of the most fun part to work on... ^__^

well this is just a simple help on drawing... and this is just the way i did which i find comfortable working with...

it still depends on you and how the order should be. :)
if you feel like making the hair solid then do as you please ^__^
