@MissfitnKitten There was this Marine who said he had just bought it and was gonna turn it into a old folks thing with a huge add on. We saw a worker leaving so we begged him to let us in. Then the Marine was hella cool and he let us come back at like 1:00 in the morning. He only lived in one room so the rest of the house was how you see it in the pics. It was funny because he let it be known that he had a lot of guns. I think that was his way of saying "don't do anything stupid" lol.

Yea, the caretaker was a homeless former Marine, who made an agreement with the property's owner that he owuld live there rent-free in exchange for mowing the law, doing maintenence work, etc. He had teis with the mob, and they paid him $10,000 to kill a guy who was talking too much about their operations, he stabbed the guy to death in the basement of the house, and with the help of three mobsters; chopped him up into little peices and threw him in the mansion's furnace.

The ghost of Elizabeth as reported below ..is a daily nightmare, i think that we are fooling around with something dangerous ... I regret contacting her via seance now !!!! I actually think that they observe our presence as if from the other side of a barrier such as our limited visual ability.... then along we come & offer them a free trip into our life...So who is looking for who ??? Awesome! we actually got in there once but we snuck in through an open window..I didn't know at the time there was a caretaker....until we noticed that someone was living there...I actually spoke to some guy today who I guess is incharge of the place. I asked if would be possible to go there and snap some pics...he said yes but didnt give me a day or time yet or price...So I guess I just have to wait for the call back.

i drew that house as a project back when i was in the 8th grade in IS . 34 and then i was done i posted the picture on my frige and the picture was ripped in half the next day . idk wtf happened . and i looked clsoer at my picture and there was a person standing on the porch . just a black mass. idk if someone was pranking me or something.

it must have been a nice house back in the day. i was born and raised on the island and i do not recall this mansion. some crazy stuff must have went on in there. thanks for sharing :)
