The game is known for being a poor selling, but well done game.

I have, and by most accounts once the game's price was lowered the game's sales picked up (especially on PS2). That wasn't enough to save the game from being a "flop" but it's not that difficult to find a copy. Also Ubisoft sabotaged itself by releasing the game during the same season as other monster hits including their own Splinter Cell & Prince of Persia adaptions. Regardless, the statement was "nobody bought it", I have a new copy proudly displayed on my shelf not too far from Ikaruga.
