After Michelle and Austin left to listen to the concert. Chase began to talk to me and he was very nice, nicer than any guy I've met. When I told him my name he asked if he could call me 'Jonas' and I said yes. It surprised me that he didnt ask if I was related to the Jonas Brothers, maybe hethought it was just coincidence. We exchanged numbers then I left with Michelle, when we got in her mom's car she started to ask me questions about Chase.
"Jane your boyfriend's cute, where did you guys meet anyway?" I panicked, I had to tell her something.
"We met at blockbuster, we reached for the same movie then our hands touched. It was very magical." I thought I was safe and done but Michelle kept going.
"What movie was it?" I panicked again, 'I know alot of movies just pick one and say it.' I thought
"Camp Rock."
"Camp Rock? He likes Camp Rock?" Michelle was holding in her laughter which surprisingly made me defensive.
"Don't laugh at Chase you don't even know him! What about you, dating Austin Davis like it doesn't even matter! You know I've liked him ever since 5th grade." Once I told her that she stopped and she to got defensive.
"God Jane now I can't date guys just because you like them? What's up with your butt?"
"Nothing's up my butt, every girl in the history of the world knows you can't date a guy if your friend especially your BEST FRIEND likes them!"
"Fine Jane I'll dump him and you can pick out my next boyfriend because we all know you like all the guys in school! I mean I'm actually surprised that you're dating a guy nonetheless talking to one!" Michelle yelled at me, I bit my lip and didn't talk to her the rest of the ride to my house. When her mom parked in my driveway I got out and looked at Michelle.
"Don't talk to me, I'm not friends with bitches." I said I turned around and walked into my house. I could feel tears riming my eyes and eventually one slipped out of my eyeslids and rolled down my cheek. Frankie was the only one in the living room watching some Nickelodeon show, I ignored him and walked upstairs.
As I was walking to my room I was stopped by Kevin. "Jane are you crying?" I ignored him too and started to walk past him until he walked into of me trying to block my path.
"Why are you crying? What happened at the concert?" He asked I knew he was concerned, he always was. 'Nothing happened AT the concert.' I thought. I wiped away my tears and looked at him.
"Nothing Kevin." I walked past him and into my room then closed the door which I never did, I only did it when I felt upset or needed my own space and I felt upset and needed my own space at the same time. I sat down on my bed and looked around my room, pictures of Michelle and I were everywhere. Us at the mall taking pictures in the photobooth, us wearing tie dye shirts at 5th grade camp, us eating ice cream on her house's porch and many more pictures decorated my room. I could believe I told my best friend in the whole world that she was bitch and not to talk to me. I felt disgusted.
An hour later I was still in my room, I took out the napkin Chase wrote his number on out of my purse and looked at it. He was just one phone call away, just one phone call and even though I barely knew the guy when we talked it felt like I had knew him my whole life. It was crazy. A moment later someone opened my room door and let themselves in. I looked to my right and saw Nick, sure send the brother I'm closest to and see if he gets some answers out of me.
"Hey I know what you're thinking 'look they sent Nick the brother I'm closest too hoping to get some answers out of me.' Well I am." He sat down on the bed and looked at me waiting for me to talk.
"Do you think guys like me?" I asked "Yeah I like you." He said then smiled but I frowned instead.
"No guy guys." I said then he laughed.
"What am I girl guy now?"
"You know what I mean." Once I said that he got quiet which I didnt know if it was a good thing or not. Nick told me that they did then left. I don't think the question I asked was one a brother could answer.
But guys have to like me, Chase does. I'm going to make things work between me and him. I know we'll create something great.
