1.Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah

The sixth Fatimid caliph and 16th Ismaili imam (9961021), His kingdom included North Africa, western Arabia and greater Syria. The founder of the Druze faith

2.Fakhr-al-Din II

Prince Emir Fakhr-al-Din ibn Maan (1572April 13, 1635) was the founder of Modern Lebanon. His Druze principality was centered in Mount Lebanon and stretched to the Galilee and Carmel mountains of northern Israel to the south and to Syria and the Jordanian desert. In 1608 Fakhr-al-Din forged an alliance with the Italian Grand Duchy of Tuscany.

3.Sultan Al-Atrash

Sultan al-Atrash, (1891-1982) commonly known as Sultan Pasha al-Atrash was a prominent Arab Druze leader, Syrian nationalist and Commander General of the Syrian Revolution (1925-1927). He fought against the Ottomans, French, and even against the Syrian government in its days of dictatorship.

4.Kamal Jumblatt

Kamal Jumblatt (December 6, 1917 March 16, 1977) was an important Lebanese leader until his assassination in 1977. Jumblatt pursued higher studies in France, where he joined the Faculty of Arts at the Sorbonne University and achieved a degree in Psychology & Civil Education, and another one in Sociology. He was philosopher and social reformer.

5.Fareed Al-Atrash

Farid al-Atrash was born: October 19, 1915 in Suwayda, Syria; died: December 26, 1974 in Beirut, Lebanon He was a Syrian-Egyptian Druze composer, singer, virtuoso oud player, and actor. Sometimes referred to as King of the Oud, he is one of the most important figures of 20th Century Arab music.

6.Asmahan

Asmahan or Amal al-Atrash; was burn 25 November 1918 at Mediterranean Sea and died 14 July 1944 in Nile River, Egypt. She was a Syrian-Egyptian Druze singer and actress. With a legendary voice and astonishing beauty Asmahan became a household name in Arabic music.

7.Casey Kasem

Kamal Amin "Casey" Kasem born April 27, 1932 is an American Druze radio personality and voice actor. Kasem founded the popular American Top 40 franchise in 1970, hosting it from 1970 to 1988 and then from 1998 to 2004. Between 1989 and 1998, he was the host of Casey's Top 40, Casey's Hot 20, and Casey's Countdown.


8.Samih Al-Qasim

Samih al-Qasim born 1939 is a Palestinian Druze poet and citizen of Israel whose Arabic poetry is well-known throughout Arab World. As of 1984, al-Qasim had written twenty-four volumes of nationalist poetry and published six collections of poems. His poems in general are relatively short, some being no more than just two verses. He is the greatest Palestinian poet alive and the author of the famous "Montaseb Alkamate Amshi".

9.Amin Tarif

Amin Tarif was born 1898 and died October 2, 1993. He was the qadi, or spiritual leader, of the Druze in Israel from 1928 till his death in 1993. Such was the esteem in which he was held among Druze internationally that Sheikh Amin was regarded by many within the community as the preeminent spiritual authority in the Druze world. 10. Faisal Al-Qassem

Dr. Faisal al-Qassem is a Druze Syrian television personality who hosts The Opposite Direction, a talk show on Al Jazeera. Al-Qassem studied drama at Hull University in the UK before moving in to television. He is known for his provocative on-screen style, and is frequently credited with playing a large part in Al Jazeera's reputation in the Arab world as willing to break taboos.

  • @hayder464 No. My father is Druze. He told me that it started off as a movement in Islamism but now it is its own religion. It incorporates many different aspects of different religions.

  • @ClubAfricainTunis theyre traitors as they are kafirs, the druze will serve anyone in charge so ottomans left then alone but israel too
