Ending Mission of Mass Effect 2 - All Team Member Survive (Part 1 of 6)

"The Suicide Mission" of Mass Effect 2 on the PC. All team members, including Shepard, survive.

TO ENSURE THAT ALL CREW MEMBERS SURVIVE:

1) Don't do the quest that has you acquire the Collector IFF until you are absolutely ready to take on the final mission. That mean you must accomplish the following...

2) Purchase ALL combat-related Normandy ship upgrades (such as improvements to the main gun and hull; but not the mineral scanner, etc)

3) Complete ALL team member loyalty quests, with the exception of Legion because you only get Legion AFTER the IFF mission. Immediately after completing this mission, do Legion's loyalty quest.

4) When your crew mates are abducted by the collectors, IMMEDIATELY go through the Omega Relay.




5) When given the choice, choose the following (note that this list isn't absolute. There are several choices for each stage, but this is what worked for me):

VENT DUCT - Tali or Legion
SQUAD LEADER A - Jacob
SQUAD LEADER B - Miranda
BIOTIC BARRIER - Samara or Jack
WHO TO LEAVE BEHIND TO WATCH THE DOOR - No one. Ignore it.
PERSON TO ESCORT SURVIVORS - Jacob

ABOUT THE WEAPONS USED IN THIS MISSION:

ASSAULT RIFLE - M-76 Revenant; obtained in the quest where you board the dead Reaper vessel.

GRENADE LAUNCHER - M-920 Cain; obtained with tech research. To unlock the Cain, you need to have 3 Heavy Weapon Ammo upgrades.

SNIPER RIFLE - M-97 Viper Sniper Rifle (Shepard); obtained in the mission where you recruit Thane. M-98 Widow Anti-Material Rifle (Legion); available to research when you ask Legion for possible upgrade ideas.

What's better for Grunt, his Claymore Shotgun or the Geth Plasma Shotgun? I have em both but I want to know which one.

i made it all my squad members survived it was easy nad about paragon level stuff beatwen miranda and jack max out your carracter special ability first and than go and do miranda and jack loyalty mission than you should get option to have them both loyal as same as tali and leagion :) when those debates show when you have to choose it does not matter how high your paragon level is but it matters how many paragon/renegade points u colected until that moment :) i hope i helped :)

I beat this game 3 times Jack and Mordin died 3 times...........Ugh

I got one person killed on my 2 runs, first Thane then Legion. I'm perplexed but I think the key is to upgrade everything and gain loyalty from all 10 recruits.

I chose not to get Grunt's upgrade which was the Krogan Shotgun but that's the only upgrade I didn't get.

I chose Thane and Legion for vents but they both died. I chose not to rescue the survivors.

Will complete the game a third time since I didn't save before Suicide Mission and figure it out myself.

@asiandawn69 Mordin is statistically the most likely to die when left to "hold the line" with the rest of the Team. To ensure his survival, make sure he is loyal and send him to escort Chakwas and the Crew back to the Normandy OR take him with you to the Human Reaper. If you want him to survive whilst "holding the line" I suggest leaving behind alot of defense heavy squadmembers like Grunt, Garrus and Zaeed.

when i first did the campaign mirander died then the second time jack,legeon,thane and the vetran millitary guy died (dlc) but that was all before i saw these videos

Okay i did step by step but morfin Got killer! I did the loyaty mission.

awwwww.... i did jacks loyalty mission then she and miranda got in fight i told miranda to back off and i lost her loyalty now i cant talk to her. oh well ill just replace her spot with garrus and bring miranda and thane with me.

i found this quite easy second time i just farmed scan planets for an hour or so and i upgraded all the defense and offense i could thane died because of something but im still working on it second time
