For more information about 3D medical animations, visit www.amerra.com. The human brain is the center of the human nervous system and is the most complex organ in any creature on earth. It has the same general structure as the brains of other mammals, but is over five times as large as the "average brain" of a mammal with the same body size. Most of the expansion comes from the cerebral cortex, a convoluted layer of neural tissue that covers the surface of the forebrain. Especially expanded are the frontal lobes, which are involved in executive functions such as self-control, planning, reasoning, and abstract thought. The portion of the brain devoted to vision is also greatly enlarged in humans.

    Flesh is much slower than electronics. A neuron has to wait for sometimes hundreds of signals for its action potential to be reach for it to fire. Electronics have a low resistance straight shot. Analog systems like our brains are prone to far more errors since it cannot do parity checks.

    As for designed. One side of our brain controls the other side and our eye inputs switch brain hemispheres. Something we would expect from evolution.

  • Flesh vs Electronics. Flesh is more flexible and pliable than electronics. Electronics is less dynamic and is much more static than flesh. Both have circuitry used to carry signals quickly and efficienty at about the same rate, however, flesh is able to transport more than just electrical signal from one place to the next. It can carry vitamines, nutrients etc used to automatically repair the host body.And to make it grow.Which electronics could never do. etc...But electronics has a designer?
