Google Sites for Education

In this video, I talk a little about what Google Sites is and how it is different from other Web sites and that you do not need to know HTML to create rich colorful Web sites with pictures, graphics, and video using templates provided in Google Sites. I also talk about a couple different ways of using Google Sites in the classroom. The teacher can maintain a class site to post information about the class and class assignments, and the teacher can have the students create their own project-based Web sites either individually or as a group. Like many Google applications, Google Sites allows sharing, collaborating, and levels of permissions based on the site owner's goals for the site.
