This is my Prototype #2 strait, waste, vegetable oil burner. It can bolt on to an existing oil burner. Things I still need to add are a return system for oil, and wait overnight for the whole system to cool to room temperature and try a test run with cold oil.

Check out my burner. Fully automatic. No oil preheat. Second season with the one in the video. I am working on the next generation also. Will be ready in a couple weeks.

Note to all: The burner in this clip is not installed, it will probably act alot differently without all that open air.
There are many issues with this type of conversion. A Beckett will ignite if you preheat the oil between the pump and the nozzle. But incomplete atomization leads unburnt fuel exiting the combustion chamber, and with the right conditions will ignite/explode in the flue. Wear goggles if you are peeking thru the inspection door, I lost my eyebrows and eye lashes last night.

How about some safety? It looked like a fire hazard waiting to happen...
