  • a lot of people are gonna criticize this album. i think it's a lot mroe diverse than their other album. and i hate to say this but this seems like a proper Editors album.

    I liked "The Back Room" and "An End Has a Start"...but "ITLAOTE" just captures them better.

  • Amazing.

    Hah i love how he absolutely makes out with the mic (;

  • @neonfoxincolour

    At the first time I listened to this album, I really love it because it captured what I've been looking for.

  • @angelene9 Yes, those are the lyrics.

    Well done! :D

  • I think i just died

  • My mind is the two previous Editors' album were very good Indie album, but In This Late is more: it's a distinctive album, more focused. Even if it takes '80 sounds and a Joy Division-New Order taste, I like it. Thomas Smith's voice too, I think is better used here, even if it now sounds like that of Ian Curtis.

  • I swear to God, I heard the Earth inhale,

    moments before it spat its rain down on me.

    I swear to God, in this light and on this evening,

    London's become, the most beautiful thing I've seen.

  • Fantastic !

  • I love it when musicians get so into their live performances that they have mini spazz attacks on stage. Perhaps it's an indicator of genuine music. The stage and the psych ward are the only places where this is acceptable and maybe, in the house down the street with the ADHD kid. If your accountant put on that kind of a spazz routine while doing your taxes, you'd be calling for the white van with straight jackets in no time!

  • How can people not say that this is Editors best album. I absolutely love the previous two albums and this one is no different. Its so good in so many different ways I cant even bring words to say how brilliant this album truly is... If you haven't brought it, buy it your missing out big time!

  • @robertgreally There a lot of criticizable aspects in this album, but how it was recorded isn't of them. The frequencies were very well divided, no instrument "invaded" the space of the other, the synthesizers they've choose matched the singers timbre in a perfectly harmonic way and the level of details (percussive mostly) within each song is quite impressive.
