States are busy laying the groundwork for health insurance exchanges, a major part of implementing federal health reform legislation. A handful of states started working on exchanges even prior to health reform as part of work funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration's State Health Access Program (SHAP). This 90-minute webinar, with a question and answer period, is an opportunity to hear directly from two high ranking state officials and where they currently stand on key exchange design issues such as: whether to consider a regional exchange, governance, eligibility and enrollment, benefit design, tools to achieve affordability, and stakeholder engagement.

-Jane Cline, West Virginia Insurance Commissioner
-Trish Riley, Director, Governor's Office of Health Policy and Finance, State of Maine
-Anne Gauthier, Senior Fellow, NASHP (moderator)
-Sonya Schwartz, Program Director, NASHP

This webinar is funded through a contract with the Health Resources and Services Administration's State Health Access Program.
