@r1ch4rd69 Great comment Richard.
Totally agree.

With my own hands,
When I make love to your memory,
It's not the same,
I miss the thunder, I miss the rain.
Wow! No one else has ever written lyrics like that. Dylan, eat your heart out.

found it cause of "one day"

I love this song, such a great lyricist

Love Billy B. On par with Dylan? That's like saying Blues Traveler is on par with the Grateful Dead...
-
Liverpool Poly 1983. We listened to this constantly. The Peel session verion. Where are you now?

Add the tag "yt:stretch=4:3" and it should cure the aspect ratio problem here. This is far too stretched horizontally. Great clip, though.

The Polaroids that hold us together
Will surely fade away
Like the love that we spoke of forever
On St Swithin's Day.

How immense was Billy Bragg at his best? Utter genius- intelligent, powerful and sometimes heartbreaking.
-
love the passion in this performance
The fact that you don't understand cast's a shadow over this land.Haven't we all felt that way at some point?I would put him on par with Dylan.Brilliant!
