  • The fact that you don't understand cast's a shadow over this land.Haven't we all felt that way at some point?I would put him on par with Dylan.Brilliant!

  • @r1ch4rd69 Great comment Richard.

    Totally agree.

  • With my own hands,

When I make love to your memory,

    It's not the same,

I miss the thunder, I miss the rain.

Wow! No one else has ever written lyrics like that. Dylan, eat your heart out.

  • found it cause of "one day"

  • I love this song, such a great lyricist

  • Love Billy B. On par with Dylan? That's like saying Blues Traveler is on par with the Grateful Dead...

  • Liverpool Poly 1983. We listened to this constantly. The Peel session verion. Where are you now?

  • Add the tag "yt:stretch=4:3" and it should cure the aspect ratio problem here. This is far too stretched horizontally. Great clip, though.

  • The Polaroids that hold us together

    Will surely fade away

Like the love that we spoke of forever

    On St Swithin's Day.

  • How immense was Billy Bragg at his best? Utter genius- intelligent, powerful and sometimes heartbreaking.

  • love the passion in this performance
