The people have spoken and I've listened... Here's more Flim & the BB's from the World Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. Geez these guys are so good when it comes to modern jazz. Jimmy "Flim" Johnson, Billy Barber, Bill Berg & Dick Oatts perform some more excellent solos in this piece. Directed by Gregg Kubera and switched by, Larry Hutchinson "Hutch".

  • I have owned every one of their CD's ever since the first one came out... all still in mint condition as they are my most treasured recordings along with a Dave Brubeck direct to disc vinyl. I was so disappointed a couple of decades ago when these guys just stopped recording. I love every one of these cd's and will never give them up. Just beautiful engineering and music. I have used some of the music as background music in various videos. nice to have come across these videos tonight

  • Thanks for posting this! I thought these guys were a once-a-year studio band; I had no idea they'd actually played live at one time.

  • @Mobiustrip1 My understanding is that DMP Records never had anything released on iTunes because the compressed nature of an mp3 wouldn't live up to the original audiophile quality of the CDs. But check out amazon.com, where a quick check shows most of their library available used for less than 10 bucks a pop.

  • How is it that their videos exist but you can't get their recorded music? iTunes does not recognize "Flim & the BBs" which is, frankly, very sad.

  • I use to love playing their stuff while driving on scenic HWY 90 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Since Katrina, the drive isn't and will never in my lifetime, be the same. Apparently these guys are "no more" if whoever made the entry on Wikipedia is assuming correctly and since they haven't released anything in the last 20 years. I tell you what though, the last 4:53 really brings back great memories, all of which have been erased except from my mind. Thank God for Flim and The B.B.'s.

  • Real music hasn't died you just have to look harder to find it. So thanks Telecide

  • Thanks Telecide! Keep the BB's coming!
